At the beginning of the year, I asked myself was my blog just a hobby or was it a business? Is blogging something I want to do just for fun or something I want to make a living doing?
I realized that I truly enjoy blogging and I wanted to take it to the next level. I decided to take it more seriously and that meant investing in myself and in resources to help Shabby Chic + Cheap kick it up a notch! So, I became a member of Style Collective.
Style collective is more than just a community for bloggers, it’s a sisterhood of women who support each other through the ups and downs, ins and outs of blogging. They are there to encourage and inspire you to be your best #bossbabe self!
I joined in April and I have been blown away by the amount of support and materials available by becoming an SC Sister.
Something that stood out to me from the beginning was the interaction between my fellow SC Sisters and Founder Annie Spano. This isn’t one of those clubs where you get a generic message from the founder every other month in your inbox, Annie is there to support you whether you’re just starting the blogging journey or you’re a blogging veteran. She’s responded to me personally on several occasions and always interacts in our FB group discussions or member questions. Annie’s availability and transparency allow me to feel comfortable asking questions when I don’t know something, and her invaluable advice gives me the motivation to seek out opportunities.
Aside from being able to ask Annie and other sisters questions or advice, becoming a member grants you access to a priceless amount of resources to help you grow your blogging business! You’ll have access to media kit templates, brand directory, access to the exclusive FB group, stock photos and so much more!
By now I know you’re probably wondering what the catch is, or how expensive is a membership, right? Well, it’s only $10 a month! I spend more than that ordering Starbucks in the morning! If you’re serious about taking your blog to the next level but you’re unsure how or where to begin, if you feel discouraged because no one really understands what it’s like to be a ‘blogger’ and the unique frustrations and challenges we face, if you just want to be part of a kick-ass group of women empowering and supporting other women from all different backgrounds and blogging niches, then joining Style Collective is for you! Just click the picture below to sign up today!
Take that step to invest in yourself, in your business, in your PURPOSE. I’m so glad that I did.
I feel more confident in myself as a blogger and a businesswoman and I’m more excited than ever to see what the future holds for Shabby Chic + Cheap. Blogging full time is no longer just ‘a dream’ for me, it’s attainable. I have the guidance and support I need, I just need to continue putting in the work.
So, on National Encouragement Day I’m encouraging you to come be my sister! What are you waiting for? Let’s crush our goals together!
